Black Dow: The Protector of the North. Character Concept

Another Character concept based on Joe Abercrombie's amazing First Law series:

One of the most bloodthirsty and violent men in The North. He earned his "black" reputation for attacking in the black of night, and leaving villages behind him black from fire. In Joe Abercrombie's 'the Heroes', Black Dow has been ruler of The North for eight years, though calling himself merely "Protector of the North".
